Kayla earned her BS in Law and Justice from Central Washington University where she served as President of the Mock Trial Club and received the Law and Justice Departments Outstanding Graduating Student Award. She then attended the University of Oregon School of Law where she gained practical experience by assisting domestic violence survivors and individuals charged with criminal offenses. Kayla also volunteered her time at the Juvenile Detention Facility where she assisted incarcerated youth in the classroom and provided one-on-one help to students in need. After graduating from law school, Kayla moved close by her hometown of Cashmere and now uses her legal knowledge and passion for justice to serve her local community .
